Naoyuki Tomomatsu Born in Osaka in 1967. When he was in high school, he started making independent films and writing comic books. After working as an assistant to Shugiku Uchida, he made his own debut as a screenplay writer with The Nimpu. Uniqueness modeling, make-ups, gore effects, film director Yoshihiro Nishimura was born in 1967. Since junior high school, he has taught himself about modeling, filming, lighting, art, and special make-up for his independent films. In 1995, at Yubari international fantastic film festival, Nishimura received a special jury prize in the off-theater division with his independent movie, GENKAI JINKOU KEISU (Limit Population Factor). Soon Nishimura was put in charge of the special-effects modeling and makeup for many films such as SUICIDE CLUB (2002 / D: Shion Sono) and MEATBALL MACHINE (2005 / D: Yudai Yamaguchi). His most recent effects work includes L CHANGE THE WORLD, DETROIT METAL CITY, BE A MAN! SAMURAI SCHOOL, WELCOME TO THE QUIET ROOM and THE MACHINE GIRL. In 2008, he made his long awaited feature directorial debut with TOKYO GORE POLICE, based on his award-winning 1995 short film ANATOMNIA EXTINCTION, Tokyo Gore Police was released worldwide. It received tremendous support from Fantastic Film Festivals and created a huge buzz in the international market. With his unique “gory-effect”, he achieves international attention and acclaim.
